On 28 August, HIPRA ARGENTINA launched EVANOVO®, the first live attenuated vaccine against coccidiosis specially developed for in-ovo administration. The event brought together more than 60 leaders from the poultry industry from across the country at Bodegas Gamboa in Campana, Buenos Aires. 

The event featured the participation of Eng. Carlos Sinesi, Executive Director of the Argentine Center for Poultry Processing Companies, who provided his insight into the current state of the country’s export landscape.

Roberto Ricagno, founder and veterinarian at the poultry consultancy Bankiva, highlighted the importance of hatchery processes as a key factor in producing high-quality and high-performance chicks. 

Joan Molist, Global Product Manager Poultry at HIPRA, presented the benefits EVANOVO® can offer to producers. Followed by Juan Grau, Technical Services Manager at HIPRA Spain, who shared the implementation experiences from the European market, where the vaccine has seen rapid adoption thanks to its advantages from incubation through to the rearing stage. 

The event showcased EVANOVO® as an innovative approach to coccidosis control presenting a new paradigm on cocciodisis control that paves the way for a more strategic, efficient and precise poultry industry in Argentina.
