HIPRA strengthens its presence in Latin America participating in the International Seminar on Avian Pathology and Production at the University of Georgia

HIPRA participated as a key sponsor in the prestigious International Seminar on Avian Pathology and Production, hosted by the University of Georgia (USA). This strategic involvement underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and knowledge transfer in the field of animal health. 

Held over five days, the seminar brought together experts from Spain and Latin America to explore important challenges in the modern poultry industry. The program featured specialized session on viral, bacterial, and parasitic pathology, as well as on management, ventilation, and diagnostic techniques.

During the session focused on avian coccidiosis, Santiago de Castro (Global Product Manager at HIPRA), presented the latest studies on the link between the safety of a precocity-attenuated coccidia vaccine and enhanced fertility in male breeders. This research provides new insights into the impact of innovative vaccination on the efficiency and productivity of the poultry sector.
